I came here for an alignment after getting new tires at a different Discount Tire store. They recommended that I go to this location that does do alignments.
Anyway, while the alignment got everything into the "green zone", many of those numbers are to the extreme edge of what is considered to be in the green. Which means it'll likely be no time before I'm out of alignment again. I mentioned this to the alignment tech who did the service, and he said he didn't know how to do that and that it would take an "alignment specialist" to get everything in the green.
Well sorry, I thought you guys WERE the alignment specialist and I thought that was what I was paying for . . . for you to get it perfect.
Update: spoke to manager. They did offer to make it right. Updated the star rating.
They told me my nail was too close to the wall to repair and would need to get a new tire. I texted my mechanic, and he said he could do it. Shame on Discount Tire for being to focus on selling me Tires. You lost my business. I really felt like they were trying to take total advantage of me as I am an older lady. SHAME ON YOU.
I only wish they did more! I brought my car here to have my tires aligned. They have 3 people at the front desk and 5 mechanics working, so they are able to handle walk-ins easily. They didn't wind up doing the alignment because they checked first, and my car didn't need it! Turns out it could be a brake issue, which they don't service at Discount Tire, but I was so pleased that they didn't charge me a dime to have my car checked. And it was fast! I was in and out in 35 minutes. The waiting room is also large and clean. I'd recommend bringing your car here for any tire issues you have.

I went in for my 1st visit and came to the counter for my appointment. The young male cashier, whose name I could see started with a C, looked up at me blankly, so I just said “Hey” because he was on the computer. He immediately responds “1 second I’m doing something” in a sharp tone as if I was bothering him.
I waited and when he finished on the computer he then made an outbound call. I was standing there so long, starting to get angry, a third associate walking by asked if I had been helped and I told him no and what the other guy said to me.
He apologized on his behalf and said it was a high school student.
There is no excuse if your company properly trained him. I also was a high school teenage worker and couldn’t imagine saying that to an in person customer or not taking a moment before the outbound call to quickly address the customer in front of me.
All customer service training teaches cashiers to greet a customer and say I’ll be right with you or please excuse me a moment, when they are on an urgent side task.
It bothered me so much I haven’t forgotten it days later. I wanted an apology directly from him for being so rude to me.
Ofcourse this was my first and last visit here because ultimately that falls on the customer service training there. No associate should fall through the cracks and if he was taught what made him think it was okay to speak to me that way?
I felt completely unwelcomed and like I did something wrong by just politely greeting him and not even bringing up my appointment because I already saw he was doing something. But no he felt like I was an inconvenience and needed to wait 5-10 minutes for what ever side task he was completing.
And his face was utterly angry at me. It was his tone and demeanor on top of it. Like an irritation with me as if me walking in as a customer and speaking first as HE was suppose to do, was me rudely interrupting him.
I really don’t appreciate that and I hope you allow him to read this.
Brian and his team were incredibly helpful and demonstrated a high level of professionalism. Although I found the tires cheaper elsewhere, they were more than willing to match the price, which I greatly appreciated. Additionally, they efficiently completed the tire installation in approximately an hour, allowing me to get back on the road quickly. Moreover, they went the extra mile by properly placing my spare tire in its designated location. I was extremely satisfied with the service provided by Brian and his team.
I cannot recommend this store enough! Chris and team were absolutely incredible, and I’m very happy I came to this shop. Thank you all for helping me resolve my tire issue, and for treating me with kindness and respect.
Yesterday, the team at Discount Tire on South Boulevard was able to solve a tire problem I’ve had for almost a year due to another tire shop. Derek and Jake were able to work through the manufacturer and Tire Rack to get me a new set of tires for no charge! I waited in their super clean showroom for over an hour while the work was done. The glass wall is awesome because you can watch their team hustling and working super hard on your vehicle. Jonathan and Hunter were also very helpful in explaining problems to me and other customers. I will go directly back to their shop for my next set of tires! Thank you all for your solutions!!
